Over the last few years, Route 420 founder Cameron Bramley (you’ve met him) has travelled more than 200,000 kilometres across the country, visiting hundreds of cannabis establishments and meeting the people behind them face to face.
This has never been a desk project.
Cameron has sat with store owners (you guys), listened to your stories, seen all your amazing spaces, shared in your communities, and followed the growth of South Africa’s cannabis culture from the road. Many of the people who have been part of the journey know exactly how far it has come, because they have seen him arrive in person, town after town, year after year.
What started as a journey through South Africa’s cannabis landscape has revealed something much bigger.
South Africa does not simply have a cannabis industry. It has the foundations of one of the world’s most exciting emerging cannabis tourism destinations.
For years, Cameron and Rolling Stoner have documented the people, the places, and the culture behind this movement.
Now, it is time to connect them.
Route 420 Begins Soon
Over the coming days, we will be unveiling something that has been built through real travel, real conversations, and real relationships: a national Route 420 journey.
This is a new chapter for cannabis tourism in South Africa. It is also an opportunity for trusted businesses, tourism operators, and cannabis-facing establishments to help shape what comes next.
If you have been part of the Rolling Stoner journey over the years, thank you.
You know the road it took to get here.
And very soon, everyone else will see why every kilometre was worth it.
Keep watching.
The journey begins soon.
