The passing of Traditional (T)/Dr Sharon Price is a deep loss to the entire South African cannabis community.
She was more than a medical cannabis specialist. T/Dr Price was an educator, researcher, guide, and advocate who helped bring care, credibility, and compassion into a space that has often been misunderstood.
Through her work with Carol’s Oil, T/Dr Price played an important role in opening conversations around cannabis, medical cannabis usage, holistic health, and the endocannabinoid system.
Her work helped many people see cannabis without the usual fear or stigma, but through the lens of science, support, and patient well-being.
